Tundra Rescue provides high-quality confined space safety, access, rescue and assessment solutions in the Barrie, Ontario area and beyond.
We are comfortable and skilled in assisting with challenging working conditions and situations across many different sectors and industries, and all of our technicians have training according to NFPA standards, are certified by the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) and/or the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), and adhere to all provincial regulations as well as any additional measures that might be required according to the task or customer.
Tundra Rescue Confined Space Rescue Teams
We offer more than just compliance as a confined space service provider. When it is necessary we also design and operate rope systems that support the work or inspections being performed in the hard-to-access areas and we also approach each task with our client’s project and organizational goals in mind, including excellent administrative and project management back-up.
Our confined space services generally fall into one of three categories, or all three: standby rescue, access and contracting services.
For access, we provide comfortable, efficient access in confined spaces by implementing customized systems while managing all necessary compliance activity.
For standby rescue projects, we send a fully prepared team to provide complete management services of confined spaces including, as applicable, confined space permits, ventilation, safety briefings, access support, air and situational monitoring, along with onsite rescue and first aid services.
For contracting services, rather than just facilitating entry, we actually provide the technical services in the confined space. These could include cleaning, painting, coatings work and welding amongst others.
With our confined space services, including access and standby rescue, we make our clients operations safer, more compliant and more effective, enabling them to successfully reach intended objectives. Barrie is also a short drive from our Head Office in Clearview, Ontario.
